Andrew Laquerre profile

Andrew Laquerre joined the Urban Harbors Institute in January 2025 as a Research Assistant. Andrew is currently pursuing his Master's degree in Urban Planning and Community Development at UMass Boston and received his bachelor's degree in Communication, Legal Institutes, Economics and Government from American University. At UHI, he is researching and compiling resources regarding managed retreat, resulting in the publication of a database for coastal communities to reference. He will be planning and participating in network meetings and has experience in environmental education, community engagement/outreach, analytical writing, and media design. Andrew has a professional interest in sustainable land use, green infrastructure, and building rehabilitation.
