UMass Boston’s College of Management Introduces Five New Undergraduate Majors
UMass Boston’s College of Management is expanding its undergraduate programs with five new majors, giving students greater opportunities to gain specialized business expertise and stand out in today’s competitive job market.

Students can now pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Information Systems and Business Analytics, and Marketing.
These new majors join the college’s Management BS, the college’s most popular program, ensuring students have both broad and specialized options to build expertise in high-demand fields and connect with top employers. With hands-on learning, industry-aligned coursework, and access to a strong professional network, graduates will be ready to launch successful careers in business.
“Our goal is to prepare students for the future of business by offering focused programs that blend theory with real-world application,” said Venky Venkatachalam, Dean of the College of Management. “These new majors will give students the knowledge, confidence, and connections to excel in their careers.”
