Dining Commons Celebrates 'March Babies' Birthdays

On March 27, staff at UMass Boston’s Residence Halls hosted a community event called 'March Babies.'
Held in the Dining Commons, the party brings together students who share a birthday month. Kevin Kesterson, Director of Resident Dining, explained, "Each month, we host a birthday dinner where students celebrating their birthday month can submit preferred menu choices. After we gather the list, we prepare it for dinner that night." Complete with balloons and a birthday cake, the event helps students get to know other residents, as well as housing and dining staff, while enjoying some of their favorite foods.
