The My Health Beacon Portal is a secure system for scheduling/canceling appointments, messaging providers, uploading immunization records, and viewing immunization compliance status.

Review the information on the portal's homepage for important details about its functionalities. 

• Select the "Profile" tab to ensure your information is accurate and up-to-date.
• You can also edit your phone number and select your phone carrier to receive text reminders for messages and appointments.

Carefully read the immunization requirements and submit your records promptly to avoid an administrative hold on your WISER account.

• Tuberculosis Testing may be required 8 weeks after arriving in the United States.

MA law requires parental consent for the medical care of minors. If the student is under 18, complete the Consent to Treat Minor Form.

Confirm or waive the Student Health Insurance via WISER. Failure to act by the deadline results in automatic enrollment.

• For coverage and benefits questions, contact University Health Plans (UHP) at (833) 251-1125. 

UMass Boston provides mandatory training to equip students with skills to intervene in situations of harassment or sexual violence.

• All students, regardless of their enrollment status or program type, must complete this training in their first semester.
• You will receive an email from Get Inclusive with a link to the training, which takes about 20-30 minutes to complete. Complete it by the deadline to avoid a registration hold on your WISER account.
