Biography

Sharon Lamb, EdD PhD is currently running a research group that focuses on several topics relating to sexual ethics:

  1. Sexual ethics; building a model that goes beyond consent
  2. Sexualization and healthy sexuality in children and adolescents
  3. Sexual regret in men

Additional Information

Students interested in sexual development, victimization and agency, feminism, development of "masculinity" in relation to sexual development, bystanders in sketchy sexual situations, sexual violence, media representations and influence, and ethics (philosophy) would be welcome to work with Professor Lamb in her research lab.  She recently won the Society for the Advancement of Feminist Psychology's award: Advocate of the Year. In 2022 she won the Association for Women in Psychology's Florence Denmark Mentoring Award.
