Nick Warner joined the Urban Harbors Institute in January of 2022 as a Research Assistant. He is working in coordination with UHI to support the NOAA-funded project “Regional Collaboration to Address Marine Debris in the Gulf of Maine”.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Conservation and a minor in Music Performance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is currently a Master’s student in Environmental Science at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, researching atmospheric microplastic pollution on Nantucket. His other professional interests include environmental education and climate change preparedness.
