Joshua Kohler has over a decade of experience in production management, stage management, and technical theatre both on and off-Broadway. Notable credits as production manager include the world premieres of Bloodsong of Love: A Rock N’ Roll Spaghetti Western, by Joe Iconis; An Octoroon, by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins; Blood Play, by The Debate Society; Oh Hello, by Nick Kroll and John Mulaney; and He Brought Her Heart Home in a Box, by Adrienne Kennedy. From 2013 through 2018 he worked with Ty Jones and The Classical Theatre of Harlem to bring their annual Uptown Shakespeare in the Park productions to the Richard Rodgers Amphitheatre in Marcus Garvey Park. In 2017, he joined the staff of Theatre for a New Audience as the Production Manager for The Polonsky Shakespeare Center in Brooklyn, where he worked on many productions including Samuel Beckett’s Happy Days, featuring Dianne Weist, The Winter’s Tale, directed by Arin Arbus, and The Prisoner, by Peter Brook. He has also worked with Ars Nova, The Berserker Residents, The Barrow Street Theatre, Clubbed Thumb, MCC, New Georges, Colin Quinn, Hasan Minhaj, Chris Gethard, Red Bull, Classic Stage Company, Atlantic Theatre Company, Roundabout, Boston Lyric Opera, and The ART.
