Biography

Helen Dang Ngo (she/they) is one of the Program Coordinators in the Asian American Resource Office (AARO) at UMass Boston. She leads the Peer Mentoring Program, which provides 1-on-1 peer support for first-year and transfer students and host workshops that focus on Asian American issues and communities. Born and raised in Chelsea, MA, they graduated from UMass Boston in 2018 with a Bachelor's in Asian American Studies.

Additional Information

Prior to their current role, Helen worked in a variety of direct service roles in community-based organizations and non-profits, such as the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence (ATASK), the Vietnamese American Initiative for Development (Viet-AID), and the Asian American Resource workshop (AARW).
