Dennis is the archaeological conservator for the Center for Cultural and Environmental History. He preserves archaeological finds from all of the Center¹s excavation sites including those from the Big Dig in Boston. Dennis also consults on collection care and treatment for area museums including the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, the Harvard Semitic Museum and the Peabody Essex Museum of Salem. Since 1997 he has been an adjunct faculty member of the Sea Research Foundation where he conserves and maintains the collections retrieved by archaeologists working with Dr. Robert Ballard from deep water sites in the Mediterranean and Black Seas.
