Become a Beacon Ambassador and earn $15.25/hour with flexible weekday and weekend shifts, 5-10 hours a week available. Meet new students and community members and be part of a team of UMass Boston student leaders.

Who Are Beacon Ambassadors?

Beacon Ambassadors are the university’s official student tour guides. Part of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions staff, Ambassadors play an integral role in attracting and recruiting new students to the university. Ambassadors are personable, diverse, and motivated individuals who enjoy discussing their UMass Boston experiences with prospective students and their families.

Eligibility

Interested students must meet the following eligibility requirements: be enrolled as a current UMass Boston undergraduate student, completion of 12+ credit hours in any major, cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and clean student conduct record.
