UMass Boston is easily accessible by public transportation. On the Subway, take the Red Line to the JFK/UMass Station; or, take the commuter rail to the JFK/UMass station from the South Shore on the Middleboro and Plymouth lines. A free shuttle bus will carry you from the "T" parking lot to the campus. It runs every 10 minutes or so while classes are in session.
