Food

Eating on campus can give you a chance to refuel between classes or to chat with friends in a social atmosphere.

UMass Boston has two competitively-priced, full-service dining halls, both offering hot and cold meals, salad bars, ice cream and frozen yogurt, pastries, and hot & cold beverages. The Atrium Cafe on the Upper Level of the Campus Center serves made-to-order sandwiches, pastries, coffee and juice--and much more.

There are also four coffee bars and several vending machines located throughout the campus for when you need something quick.

Dining Halls - The two full-service dining halls and one cafe-style dining area at UMass Boston offer a wide assortment of foods from all over the world.

  • Quinn Café (Quinn Building, Upper Level).
  • The Food Court (Campus Center, 1st Floor)
  • THe Atrium Cafe (Campus Center, Upper Level)

Coffee Bars - There are four coffee bars on campus that serve coffee, tea, pastries, and light snacks on campus. The Jazzman's Cyber Cafe recently opened in the Healey Library and offers comfortable seating and wi-fi to go along with their excellent selction of coffee drinks and gourmet desserts.

Sodexho also runs carts in the Upper Level of Quinn and on the 1st floor of McCormack. The Wit's End kiosk is located on the 1st floor of Wheatley.

Wit's End Café- Currently located on the third floor of the Wheatley Building, the Wit's End is a student run café featuring fresh coffee and tea, juices, and snacks at very reasonable prices. There's almost always music playing, and many of the tables are designed for checkers and chess. View a sample of the menu.

Vending Machines- Vending machines are located in every building on the campus.
