The mission of the Controller's Office is to support and enhance the academic, research, and public service activities of the University of Massachusetts Boston by providing effective and efficient financial services to the university community while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies. The Controller's Office is responsible for financial accounting and reporting, fiscal operations and audits, tax compliance, payments to vendors and business travel.
